The Man in a Can is roaming the PAX Aus 2026 show floor, 9 to 11 October 2026. Lost them? They head back to the FACTION booth, TT2418.
Get the photo
You and the Man in a Can, both in the shot. Selfie, posed, mid-battle - all fine.
Post and tag
Post it to your Instagram feed or as a Reel from a public account, with #factiontcg in the caption.

Stories do not count: they vanish after a day and cannot be found by hashtag, so we would never see yours.

The winner hears from @factiontcg on Instagram. Follow us so you don't miss it.

2 Starter Decks + 2 Beta Playmats

The winner picks any two of the three Starter Decks that have gone to print.

The promoter is GlowCraft Pty Ltd (ABN 85 669 528 803), trading as FACTION Trading Card Game ("we", "us"). Questions about this competition go to contact@glowcraft.com.au.
These terms, together with the "How to enter" section above, make up the terms of entry. By entering you accept them.

Entry is open to residents of Australia who attend PAX Aus 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Entrants under 18 must have the permission of a parent or guardian, who may be asked to confirm it before a prize is awarded.
Our employees and contractors, and their immediate families, cannot enter.
You need a public Instagram account, so that we can find your post by its hashtag.

The competition opens at 10:00am AEDT on Friday 9 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on Sunday 11 October 2026, while PAX Aus 2026 is on. Posts made outside that period are not entries.
The photo must have been taken at PAX Aus 2026, during the event, and posted before entries close.

Find the Man in a Can at PAX Aus 2026, take a photo with them, and post it to Instagram as a feed post or Reel with #factiontcg in the caption, from a public account. You and the Man in a Can must both be clearly in the photo.
Instagram Stories are not entries.
One entry per person. Posting more than one photo does not improve your chances.
Your post must stay up and public until the winner has been drawn and has claimed the prize.
Do not post anything offensive, unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share. If other people are in your photo, you must have their permission to post it. We may disqualify any entry that breaks these terms.

There is one prize, for one winner: two FACTION Starter Decks and two FACTION Beta Playmats.
The winner chooses any two of the three Starter Decks in print - The Scrappers, SuperGoMart and Serpentine Helix - including two of the same. We choose the playmat designs.
Beta Playmats are pre-release products. The images on this page are for illustration, and the prize may differ from them.
The total prize value is up to AUD $130, including GST, at recommended retail price.
A prize cannot be exchanged, transferred or taken as cash. If part of it becomes unavailable, we may substitute an item of equal or greater value.

This is a game of chance; skill plays no part in who wins. After entries close, we will gather every valid entry and draw one at random at 12:00pm AEDT on Wednesday 14 October 2026.
We will tell the winner by direct message from our official Instagram account, @factiontcg, within two business days of the draw, and announce their Instagram handle on this page and on @factiontcg.
The winner has 14 days from that message to reply with a name and an Australian postal address. If they do not, or cannot be contacted, or are ineligible, that prize is redrawn at 12:00pm AEDT on Thursday 29 October 2026, on the same terms.
We will post the prize free of charge to an Australian address within 30 days of receiving it. We are not responsible for a prize lost because the address supplied was wrong.
We will never ask a winner to pay anything, or for a password or bank details. A message that does, or that comes from any account other than @factiontcg, is not from us.

You keep the rights to your photo. By entering, you let us repost and share it on FACTION's own channels, credited to your Instagram handle, and you can ask us to take a repost down at any time.
We use a winner's name and address only to send the prize. Nobody is added to a mailing list by entering.
We may publish a winner's Instagram handle.

This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta. By entering, you release Instagram and Meta from any liability in connection with it.
FACTION is an exhibitor at PAX Aus 2026. This competition is run by us alone, and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, PAX, Penny Arcade or ReedPop.

We may disqualify entries made with fake or automated accounts, or that otherwise tamper with the competition.
If something outside our control stops the competition running as planned, we may change, suspend or end it, subject to any direction from a regulator.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from this competition or the prize.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
