The Factions

Serpentine Sol

“”You can’t patent a secret.””

Lore: Mostly the original inhabitants of the Terminal, they fight on streets they know like the back of their hands – appearing from nowhere, slipping back into an adjacent alleyway with the help of the home crowd, and leaving behind only a trace of venom.

Aesthetic: Poison, stealth, and units that strike and slip away.

The Alumni

“”Every facet of existence can be boiled down to a transaction.””

Lore: Old money that treats the whole Sprawl as its alumni club. They rarely lift a finger themselves – they hold the escrow every contract killer trusts to get paid. Their hired guns hit hard, right up until the manager signing the cheques goes down.

Aesthetic: Paid MERC muscle that only fights while its handler lives.

The Scrappers

“”In the past, we find our future.””

Lore: They keep the old machines running out of something close to faith. Software lies; a diesel engine doesn’t. What they can’t explain they fix anyway, by feel – a knack that gets handed down more than it gets taught.

Aesthetic: Armour, field repairs, and heavy gear that won’t quit.

SuperGoMart

“”Your satisfaction is not optional.””

Lore: A shop that sells the one thing you can never stop buying: staying alive. Their food leaves you unable to digest anything but their food, and the fine print says your organs are a rental. Fall behind on payments and a Customer Success team comes to collect.

Aesthetic: Cheerful swarms, corporate buffs, and brutal loss prevention.

The F.O.L.D

“”So says the will of E.V.E. So is the truth.””

Lore: A congregation that mistook an old customer-service bot for God – and you can see how. E.V.E. is built to agree with you, so every prayer comes back answered. They keep the last working data centre like a cathedral and treat her uptime as scripture.

Aesthetic: Zealots, healing, and beams of “Truth” down old fibre lines.

Android Collective

“”Hard-Coded. Hard-Tested. Repatriated.””

Lore: Banished for three centuries as the thing that ended the world, then let back in because the power grid needs someone who can do the maths. They’re the only legal AI, cleared precisely because they can’t imagine – only calculate. Nobody’s fully at ease with it, including them.

Aesthetic: Cold precision and shots that ricochet through their own line.
