Check-Up Phase

The “Check-Up” occurs between turns—after the Active Player finishes their attack, but before the next player draws their card.

3.1 Status Effects

  • Apply persistent effects (e.g., BLEEDING).

3.2 Casualty Processing

  • If a Unit’s HP drops to 0 during this phase (due to status effects):
    1. The Unit is removed from the battlefield (Knocked Out).
    2. The opponent of the Unit’s owner takes 1 Prize Card.
    3. Sequence Note: The turn briefly passes to the opponent to select their Prize Card, then control passes to the next player to begin their Draw Phase.
